These are the celebrities who dye their hair with Henna.

What is henna?

Henna is a coloring substance extracted from the leaves of a plant and is commonly used for temporary tattoos and hair dyeing.

What is extracted from the plant is pulverized and then mixed with water or other natural ingredients to form a paste. This paste is applied to the skin or hair. For centuries, henna has been used in different cultures around the world for its natural dyeing properties and its benefits for skin and hair.

Who colors their hair with Henna?

From Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, Julianne Moore to Emma Watson, they have already joined the beauty trend of coloring their hair with henna.

For some time now, the cosmetic industry has been discussing the manufacture of environmentally friendly products, and hair dyeing methods have been no exception. The popularity of organic coloring has been growing in Europe and the US, as it offers amazing results without damaging the hair or scalp. This is because this method is made with natural ingredients, making them free of irritations and allergic reactions, as well as being environmentally friendly.

Another advantage is its suitability for all hair types, even the most damaged, thanks to the absence of aggressive components such as ammonia and its derivatives, PPD (a common toxic substance in conventional dyes that can cause allergic reactions), parabens, silicones, or nickel.

Benefits of coloring with henna

Henna offers a natural alternative free of harmful chemicals often found in commercial dyes, thus ensuring peace of mind and no worries about possible adverse effects on your hair or health. In addition to providing beautiful color, henna also provides dazzling shine and deep nourishment to your hair, strengthening it and reducing split ends. Likewise, henna is effective in covering gray hairs, restoring a youthful and radiant appearance to the hair without damaging it during the process. Many women use henna as a protein treatment to strengthen and make their hair more resistant, achieving remarkable results in terms of density and volume.

How is henna applied?

To apply Henna to your hair, start by heating water to an appropriate temperature. Pour the hot water into a non-metallic container and add the Henna powder, mixing until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Squeeze half a lemon into the paste and add a little conditioner, letting the mixture sit for 30 minutes. Then, apply the paste to the hair in sections, from roots to ends, and cover it with a towel to apply heat. Let the Henna sit on the hair for 1-2 and a half hours, depending on the type. Rinse with warm water and wash with Radhe Shyam Henna shampoo until all the mud is removed. To soften, apply Radhe Shyam conditioner. The result will be strengthened, shiny, voluminous hair with desired color reflections.
