Henna is a true treasure of nature when it comes to hair care. With its ability to enhance the beauty of hair naturally, henna for hair has become an indispensable ally in the world of beauty.
But what makes henna so special and how can you prepare it to get the best results?
What is henna and why is it so popular for hair?
Henna has been used for centuries in different cultures as a natural hair dye. Originating from the Lawsonia inermis plant, henna offers a safe and effective alternative to chemical dyes. When applied to the hair, henna interacts with hair proteins, providing vibrant, long-lasting color, as well as a host of health benefits for the hair.
In today's blog, we explain the wonderful benefits of our Radhe Shyam Botanical Henna and its different shades, as well as a brief explanation on how to apply it.

How to prepare and apply henna for hair
To prepare the mixture, you will need the following items: a brush, a wide comb, disposable gloves, a disposable cap, a bowl, a tablespoon, henna-based shampoo, henna powder, henna-based beauty balm, a towel and a hair dryer.
To prepare it, you will need to pour the appropriate amount of henna powder into a container and add two tablespoons of Radhe Shyam beauty balm. Mix the mixture well and dilute it with very hot water until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous paste. It is important that you let the mixture cool down until it is lukewarm.
To apply: With dry hair, apply the henna paste gradually to the scalp, massaging gently. Make sure to cover evenly from roots to tips. Gather the hair on top of the head and massage gently for a few minutes.
To dry your hair, wrap your hair in a plastic cap and a towel. If you want more pronounced highlights, you can use a hair dryer, as heat intensifies the colour. Allow the preparation to act until the desired colour intensity is achieved.
After removing the plastic cap, rinse your hair with lukewarm water until most of the paste is removed. Then, apply Radhe Shyam Henna Shampoo to enhance the benefits of the treatment and colour. Finally, you can apply the Henna Balm and gently massage it into your hair for a minute to set the colour and facilitate conditioning.
