Henna Radhe Katam Powder

Katam is a dye plant that grows in Yemen. It is used to darken hair. When added to Natural Copper Henna, brown tones are obtained.

Chemical dyes can be a very aggressive treatment for the skin, often causing irritation, rashes, itching, etc. On the other hand, Katam is a natural treatment that also cares for the skin by nourishing and hydrating it .

So, having these very healthy properties, Henna can be used by:

• People with sensitive skin
• Pregnant women
• Children

It will last between 1 and 2 months . The more applications of henna are made, the more vivid the color will be.

Katam can be added in small percentages to Henna to obtain violet or plum shades. But Katam, mixed in equal parts with Henna, becomes a dark brown, giving a result very similar to the color of Chocolate.

Preparation :

1. Prepare the Natural Copper Henna paste.
2. When the henna paste is ready, mix the Katam in another bowl with warm water and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Once the pastes are ready, mix them together until they form a single paste. The more Katam you add, the darker the brown color will be.
3. Apply the paste to dry, perfectly clean hair, in sections starting from the front and moving towards the back. Make sure to wear gloves, as you may stain your hands.
4. Cover your hair with a towel and let it sit for 3-4 hours.
5. Rinse or wash the paste without shampoo. Apply a little conditioner, if necessary. A final rinse with water and vinegar or water with lemon is recommended. One finger of vinegar or one lemon for half a litre of water.
6. The hair color will be noticeable in the next 2 days.

Attention : It is recommended to do a first test on a strand , since each person reacts differently.

Do not use undiluted on blonde hair.
